• Acted as Singapore legal counsel to Smartworks Space Pte. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of BSE- and NSE-listed Smartworks Coworking Spaces Limited, on its acquisition of 100 per cent of the shares in Workstudio Spaces Pte. Ltd.
• Advised a prominent Singapore-based food and beverage brand on the structuring of its corporate and franchise framework to support the expansion of its outlet network in Singapore.
• Advised a private aviation company on its proposed acquisition of an overseas aerospace company and related aviation assets as part of its broader cross-border expansion strategy, including corporate governance and transaction considerations across Singapore, India and Australia.
• Advised a leading Singapore cinema operator on the structuring and negotiation of a strategic collaboration with a specialist food and beverage operator to enhance and professionalise its food and beverage operations across multiple locations in Singapore.
• Acted as lead Singapore counsel to an Indonesian-listed company on its US$35 million acquisition of a mobile offshore oil production unit.
• Advised a private investment firm on the proposed acquisition of the Singapore and Malaysia operations of a well-established international restaurant chain from a regional hospitality group.
• Advised an international coffee chain on its expansion strategy in Singapore, including the establishment of coffee kiosks in local supermarkets.
• Advised a multinational financial services provider on the structuring and negotiation of financing arrangements exceeding S$100 million involving multiple financial institutions and cross-border considerations across Singapore, Japan and China.
• Advised a regional food and beverage group on the legal structuring and documentation framework for its cross-border retail expansion into Malaysia.
• Advised Humanica Plc. on its acquisition of a Singapore-domiciled software development holding company with operations in Vietnam.
