Creditors of Geoffery Cassidy

We act for a company who are creditors of one Geoffery Cassidy, a former director of Zetta Jets Pte Ltd (“Zetta Jets SG”). Cassidy was also employed as a consultant with our client. Our client had extended loans to Cassidy who defaulted on payment. Cassidy also faces claims from the trustee-in-bankruptcy (the “US trustee”) appointed in the Chapter 11 proceedings over Zetta Jets SG and Zetta Jets, USA Inc. in the United States.  We successfully obtained a bankruptcy order against Cassidy in the High Court of Singapore after serving a statutory demand. Despite objections from the US trustee, we were able to have clients’ choice of the Official Assignee to administer the bankruptcy.
