TSL Legal (Tan, Siew & Lee), PDLegal, Hill Dickinson LLP Singapore and the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) recently came together for From Yard to Arbitration: Shipbuilding, Conversion and Offshore Project Disputes including FPSO and FSO Projects, held in Kuala Lumpur as an ADR Week Associated Event.

The seminar opened with remarks from Datuk Danesh Chandran, Chief Executive Officer of AIAC, setting the stage for an afternoon of insightful exchanges among legal practitioners and professionals from various industries on managing risk and resolving disputes arising from shipbuilding, conversion and offshore projects.

Our speakers shared practical perspectives on key issues across the project lifecycle, including contracting for construction, conversion and repair; delays, variations, defects and termination; and the progression of complex project disputes to arbitration.

Thank you to our speakers for sharing their insights and to everyone who joined us and contributed to the discussions.

It was a pleasure connecting with attendees from across multiple industries and exchanging perspectives on the legal and practical issues arising in complex offshore projects.
