Ben Lim Wei Peng

Ben is an Associate in the corporate and commercial team. His practice focuses on mergers & acquisitions (M&As), corporate real estate, capital markets and general corporate advisory.

Prior to joining TSL Legal, Ben practiced at two top-tier law firms in Malaysia where he was involved in a variety of domestic and crossborder transactions. He regularly advises multinational corporations, private and public companies, as well as private individuals on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including consumer protection, personal data protection and commercial contracts. He has experience in capital markets transactions, including listings on the Nasdaq Stock Market and Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

He graduated with First Class Honours in LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Liverpool and subsequently completed his Certificate of Legal Practice in 2022.

Ben is fluent in English, Malay, Mandarin and Hokkien.

  • Acted for a Spain-listed public company in its disposal of the entire issued and paid-up share capital of a leading stainless-steel company for a consideration of RM408,000,000.
  • Acted for shareholders in their disposal of the entire issued and paid-up share capital of a leading mould design and manufacturing company for a consideration of RM60,000,000.
  • Acted for a leading developer and operator of high-performance data centers in China and Southeast Asia in its acquisition of lands in Johor by its Malaysian subsidiary for the development and operation of a data center infrastructure for a consideration of RM427,000,000.
  • Acted for a global logistics company in its acquisition of land in Penang for a consideration of RM53,000,000.
  • Acted as Malaysian legal counsel to Super Hi International Holding Ltd in its listing on the Nasdaq stock market.
