Hao Ying is an Associate in the dispute resolution team, with experience in civil and commercial litigation, including matters involving company, commercial, probate, intellectual property, medical negligence, construction and arbitration.
Prior to joining TSL Legal, Hao Ying worked with reputable counsels in contentious trials and hearings across various levels of the Malaysian Courts. Her practice also includes advisory work to MNCs, SMEs and government institutions in matters relating to intellectual property prosecution, construction disputes, and arbitration.
Hao Ying graduated with an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of London (External Programme). She is fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and Cantonese.
- Assisted in a will dispute which resulted in the successful revocation of a Grant of Probate involving an estate worth RM50,000,000.
- Represented the executrix of a patient in a complex medical negligence dispute against a government institution.
- Successfully acted for a property development company to resist a claim for repayment of shareholder advances. Reported Judgment: [2024] CLJU 1876
- Successfully acted for a company that specializes in the sale of motor racing vehicle products in obtaining an injunction against its former employee from using and disseminating confidential information of the company. Reported Judgment: [2023] CLJU 2764
- Assisted a capital market technology provider in securing an Anton Piller Order against its former employees that utilized highly confidential information to set up a competing company. Reported Judgment: [2023] CLJU 570
