Our team is well-versed with the rules and procedures of various arbitration institutions under the AIAC, SIAC, PAM, ICC and IEM, and ad hoc arbitration processes. We have also represented clients in arbitration award challenges in the Malaysian courts.
In adjudication, we assist clients in payment disputes across all levels of the construction industry, including employers, contractors, and subcontractors. We support our clients throughout the entire process under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012 (“CIPAA”), from preparing claims or responses to enforcing, staying and setting aside adjudication decisions in the Malaysian courts.
Our team also understands the comprehensive legal considerations necessary for project development from inception to delivery. We offer practical and relevant support on a wide range of engineering and construction issues, advising clients on standard form construction contracts for major projects, including JKR, PAM, CIDB, IEM, AIAC, PSSCOC, SIA Conditions, NEC and FIDIC.
